If Raimundo Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raimundo Savion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Israel Demario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Lanus United AC's Ruben Castulo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lorenzo Salvator. Lorenzo Salvator yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Lorenzo Salvator came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Lanus United AC's Ruben Castulo. But to his dismay, Ruben Castulo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. The supporters of Antilla booed when Lanus United AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Lanus United AC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Ramond came free, but Israel Demario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Jimeno Lixandro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Salvator showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Israel Demario stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filomeno Garaile's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Ruben Castulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Garaile in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Israel Demario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Lanus United AC's zone, Raimundo Savion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Demario came out of the goal and Raimundo Savion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Ruben Castulo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lorenzo Salvator, 3-0. 45 minutes into the game, Lanus United AC's Amador Mikolas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenzo Salvator made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruben Castulo made a kick off. Lorenzo Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Ruben Castulo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lanus United AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 64th minute, Eloy Ramond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lanus United AC's Ruben Castulo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lanus United AC's Israel Demario proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Lanus United AC from getting a goal against them. Lanus United AC's Israel Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Garaile in the 69th minute of play. If Raimundo Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th match minute, Antilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eloy Ramond to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Salvator having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Gustavo Hever mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lanus United AC and the Antilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lanus United AC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gustavo Hever hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Raimundo Savion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Savion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Demario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Lanus United AC's zone, Raimundo Savion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Israel Demario came out of the goal and Raimundo Savion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Olayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lanus United AC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
