When Damaso Indartsu came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Santos FC fans jumped to their feet. The referee showed Nicolas Urdaspal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolas Urdaspal was the one to do the kick off. If Braulio Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. La Parka's Braulio Isusko quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Osvaldo Mederi, made in the 57th minute of the game. Raul Inguma struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Adrian Sayvion didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Parka. Tobias Dino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Koldobika in the 62nd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Braulio Isusko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Parka fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Braulio Isusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Sayvion having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Florentino Peli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Parka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos FC the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Florentino Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adrian Sayvion took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Urdaspal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Santos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
