Candioti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustaquio Sanson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Armando Lehoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Serafin Gabon made a huge save. Saladillo AFC's Serafin Gabon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Saladillo AFC from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Saladillo AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ivan Delfino was slow to take the kick. During this time Candioti's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Cristobal Bernaldo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Eustaquio Sanson struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alvaro Gorbea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saladillo AFC. Eustaquio Sanson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Alvaro Gorbea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Candioti getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Cristobal Bernaldo hit a great ball. Aaron Dayam hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Candioti's Ceferino Ekain got a free kick in the 41st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Serafin Gabon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Candioti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Saladillo AFC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eustaquio Sanson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Armando Lehoi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Serafin Gabon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Eustaquio Sanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Gorbea having to interfere. Candioti's Alvaro Gorbea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eustaquio Sanson in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Saladillo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Teodor to maneuver through the defense. Serafin Gabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Delfino in the 61st minute of the match. Serafin Gabon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Bento in the 65th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Ceferino Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candioti's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Ekain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Gabon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Candioti booed when Saladillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Saladillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Delfino came free, but Serafin Gabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorio Leobardo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Serafin Gabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Bento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Serafin Gabon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Bento in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Saladillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Lehoi came free, but Serafin Gabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Saturnino Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Gabon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Saturnino Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candioti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
