Isaias Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Etxatxu having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Villa Traful FC's Tomás Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugo Etxatxu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Marciano Beltran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Isaias Bermudez to strike the kick off in the second half. The corner led Villa Traful FC's Isaias Bermudez to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Etxatxu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Elpidio Noe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Hugo Etxatxu made a huge save. 62 minutes into the game, Martin Ponc threw the ball into play from the sideline. Villa Traful FC's Atilano Goren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Atilano Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Furtado couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Tomás Furtado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Traful FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Furtado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Etxatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Villa Traful FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca to leave the ground with a draw.
