Edelmiro Montay kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Dario Marques blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Etxatxu having to make a save. Jonatan Tulio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Ruisko having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Caca de Mono FC's zone, Jonatan Tulio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godfredo Ruisko came out of the goal and Jonatan Tulio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca's Gaston Raitin got a free kick in the 21st minute. Caca de Mono FC's Augusto Silbestre couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca. In the 23rd minute, Gaston Raitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonatan Tulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Godfredo Ruisko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Jonatan Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Nastasio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the game, Gaston Raitin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caca de Mono FC the free kick. In the 40th match minute, Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Raitin to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Silbestre was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Dario Marques came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Caca de Mono FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Marques couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Marques to make the kick off. With a little luck, Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca's Hugo Etxatxu got control of the ball when Dario Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Raitin to maneuver through the defense. Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca's Hugo Etxatxu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca from getting a goal against them. Eustaquio Huly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Ruisko having to interfere. After 78 minutes Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Augusto Silbestre who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Dario Marques drilling the ball in to score 0-1 behind Club Atlc. Julio A. Roca's goalkeeper. Dario Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hugo Etxatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Caca de Mono FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Caca de Mono FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
