Serafin Gabon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ulises Aurken struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Serafin Gabon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pito Duro FC. If Eustaquio Sanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Saladillo AFC's Eustaquio Sanson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Generoso Hitz. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. 32 minutes into the match, Pito Duro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Sanson came free, but Generoso Hitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Flavio Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ulises Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute Eustaquio Sanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Hitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Hitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Etxeberri in the 45th minute. Serafin Gabon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Lon, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Saladillo AFC's Serafin Gabon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Lon in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Diego Sergi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pito Duro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Diego Sergi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafin Gabon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Lon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Sergi in the 68th minute of play forced Saladillo AFC's goalkeeper Serafin Gabon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Lon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Serafin Gabon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 76th minute, Eustaquio Sanson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saladillo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 82 minutes into the match, Saladillo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Lon came free, but Serafin Gabon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Gabon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Lon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 played minutes Francisco Lon rounded Saladillo AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. Francisco Lon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Serafin Gabon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Despite being the better team, Pito Duro FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
