In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Patricios's goalkeeper Freddy Marino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Honorio Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Marino having to interfere. PECHOS FRÍOS's Basilio Isaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Palos in the 15th minute of play. Virgilio Matei scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddy Marino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Celedonio Urdin managed to get in a good position for a shot. PECHOS FRÍOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Urdin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddy Marino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorato Clementi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Basilio Isaio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Freddy Marino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Cebo in the 28th minute of the match. Freddy Marino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 37th minute, Abelardo Quinteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to PECHOS FRÍOS getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Niceto Iratzeder hit a great ball. If Silvio Segio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jairo Chumo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Palos was the one to do the kick off. Freddy Marino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Etxatxu in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Virgilio Matei managed to get in a good position for a shot. PECHOS FRÍOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgilio Matei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of PECHOS FRÍOS booed when Patricios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Galtero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Chumo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 80th playminute. The supporters of PECHOS FRÍOS booed when Patricios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Palos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Virgilio Matei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Patricios's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Etxatxu came free, but Freddy Marino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded PECHOS FRÍOS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Patricios.
