When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascual Baristo made a kick off. Tomás Orzaize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Esmeralda's zone, Bernardo Lixandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomás Orzaize came out of the goal and Bernardo Lixandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Orzaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Baristo in the 57th minute of the match. Simon Ilazki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Esmeralda's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Baristo came free, but Tomás Orzaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Lixandro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Pascual Baristo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Orzaize having to interfere. In the 91st minute Bernardo Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Orzaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonzo Lain made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Artemio Goiz sent off a good shot on target.
