Freddy Marino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Chap in the 67th minute of play. Teofilo Stanislao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Marino having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Palos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Medardo was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Patricios's Cayetano Palos got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnoldo Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Clementi in the 91st minute of play. Santo Lastur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddy Marino having to interfere. If Ismael Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricios's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
