Amancio Veremundo struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Carolo Eliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esmeralda. After 26 played minutes, Esmeralda's Benito Manilan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carolo Eliu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Esmeralda reached it. Tomás Orzaize made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Rumaldo in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, TORITOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Lucian to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to TORITOS FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ciriaco Arce hit a great ball. Victor Urtzi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carolo Eliu. TORITOS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Gregorio Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Esmeralda getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Nemesio Raulo hit a great ball. Dante Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Tomás Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gregorio Rodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 44th match minute, Esmeralda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Romelio to maneuver through the defense. Esmeralda's Tomás Orzaize played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Rodas in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregorio Rodas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, TORITOS FC's Gregorio Rodas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomás Orzaize narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Arturo Elorri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carolo Eliu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Raulo in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Amancio Veremundo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carolo Eliu. That made the score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. Amancio Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. TORITOS FC's Carolo Eliu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save TORITOS FC from getting a goal against them. If Artemio Goiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Amancio Veremundo took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Carolo Eliu to make any attempt to save it.
