With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomero Lopes in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomás Orzaize saved Esmeralda from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, savoi's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Veremundo came free, but Matias Petrigai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artemio Goiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Matias Petrigai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Siro Caton took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Orzaize. Tomás Orzaize dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 44 minutes into the game, Sebastian Bartolome was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. savoi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esmeralda the free kick. Esmeralda's Artemio Goiz got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Esmeralda booed when savoi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siro Caton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Amancio Veremundo in the 49th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

The supporters of savoi booed when Esmeralda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Bertol didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Artemio Goiz came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Esmeralda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Goiz couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, savoi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Crispo to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Amancio Veremundo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Artemio Goiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Artemio Goiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Petrigai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Esmeralda's goalkeeper Tomás Orzaize had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benigno Bizi. savoi's Benigno Bizi got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Orzaize showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Lopes in the 97th minute of the match. The savoi players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
