Freddy Marino came out and tried to block the shot, but Aquiles Paez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 13th minute. Labs FC's Aquiles Paez got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Aquiles Paez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Patricios's zone, Abelardo Suero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Marino came out of the goal and Abelardo Suero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddy Marino was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquiles Paez made a kick off. If Honorato Clementi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Freddy Marino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Labs FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
