After 20 played minutes Federales F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Ferran. Thanks to some nice moves Manuel Gaztea could shoot a difficult shot in the 23rd minute, which Nemesio Lore however easily saved by the left post. Nemesio Lore made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Gaztea in the 26th minute. If Arnoldo Romano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. After the first half Los Andes were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Epifanio Ferran stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Mazuste kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Epifanio Ferran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Federales F.C.'s Generoso Ibon got control of the ball when Laureano Guifre tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nemesio Lore was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 89 minutes into the match, Los Andes's Arnoldo Romano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Generoso Ibon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Los Andes's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Gaztea came free, but Nemesio Lore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Epifanio Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
