The audience thought a goal was coming when Celestino Quinteros got free with Generoso Ibon in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Generoso Ibon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cosme Guillem hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's Americo Garoa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico River Plate's zone, Epifanio Ferran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Godofredo Giro came out of the goal and Epifanio Ferran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Etxekopar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Ramond in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Generoso Ibon saved Federales F.C. from getting behind. Federales F.C.'s Generoso Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Quinteros in the 63rd minute of play. Generoso Ibon came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico River Plate's Celestino Quinteros. But to his dismay, Celestino Quinteros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Santos Etxekopar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
