The supporters of Licor FC booed when Los Andes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavino Karmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florentino Indartsu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nemesio Lore having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnoldo Romano to strike the kick off in the second half.
