The Sarandí FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Sotil should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute, Rafael Oxel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidro Sotil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Angelo Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Valiente having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarandí FC's goalkeeper Isidro Sotil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Maore in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidro Sotil saved Sarandí FC from getting behind. In the 41st minute, Sergio Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Sarandí FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Cesaro came free, but Isidro Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Campito FC's Moises Valiente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Medina in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafael Oxel made a kick off. Sarandí FC's Isidro Sotil proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sarandí FC from getting a goal against them. Isidro Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Oxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isidro Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Oxel in the 60th minute of the match. If Angelo Medina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th match minute, Campito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Segundo Beltza to maneuver through the defense. When Armando Pasqual came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Sarandí FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Pasqual couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Campito FC's goalkeeper Moises Valiente, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelo Medina struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Moises Valiente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sarandí FC. When Arnaldo Manuelo fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarandí FC's protests and gave Arnaldo Manuelo a yellow card for diving instead. Arnaldo Manuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sarandí FC's Urbano Cristos got a free kick in the 96th minute. Campito FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
