An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Ortzi in the 4th minute of play forced Alto Valle FC's goalkeeper Angelo Timo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Ortzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelo Timo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Los troncos booed when Alto Valle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Ebardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Timo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Ortzi in the 13th minute of the match. The Los troncos fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Los troncos's Ignacio Edorta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 48 minutes, Ignacio Edorta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
