Celedonio Ferran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Bertran having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Salamanca's Alejo Chorche sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardo Gerazan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Alberto Ciceron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Salamanca's Alejo Chorche in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Abechuco to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Gerazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Chorche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Hipolito Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Alejo Chorche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salamanca's supporters rose to their feet, but Alejo Chorche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Gerazan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Tulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Laureano Bertran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celso Abechuco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Celedonio Ferran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Salamanca booed when El rejunte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75thth minute of the game Alberto Ciceron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El rejunte FC's Bernardo Gerazan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salamanca's goalkeeper Laureano Bertran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laureano Bertran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Celedonio Ferran in the 83rd minute. Salamanca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Celso Abechuco scored to the left of an out of position Laureano Bertran, making the score, 1-1. Celso Abechuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Laureano Bertran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
