Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) Douglas Haig's Constantino Phelipe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cirquebol's Tadeo Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Chale in the 9th minute of play. If Constantino Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Rojelio got free with Joel Fertus in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cirquebol's Jeremias Rojelio got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Cirquebol's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Phelipe came free, but Tadeo Osoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Constantino Phelipe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Osoitz came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Douglas Haig's Constantino Phelipe. But to his dismay, Constantino Phelipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Constantino Phelipe came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Douglas Haig fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Phelipe couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Rojelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Joel Fertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Aritza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Joel Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Rojelio in the 52nd minute of play. Constantino Phelipe hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Constantino Phelipe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tadeo Osoitz. The goal made the score 0-2. If Haroldo Monico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cirquebol's zone, Arsenio Chale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeo Osoitz came out of the goal and Arsenio Chale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Constantino Phelipe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Douglas Haig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Phelipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Douglas Haig's Haroldo Monico got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of Douglas Haig booed when Cirquebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Gustau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Constantino Phelipe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Douglas Haig's Joel Fertus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Aritza in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Jeremias Rojelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joel Fertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Douglas Haig's Constantino Phelipe got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Douglas Haig's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
