The Cirquebol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeo Osoitz should have stopped the shot. Aldo Olando kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Angel Jacob, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tadeo Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Chorche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amador Milian during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cirquebol getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Amador Milian hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cirquebol's goalkeeper Tadeo Osoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marciano Aritza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Laureano Bertran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Bertran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Aritza in the 46th minute of play. The Cirquebol players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Salamanca were winning 0-2.

Alberto Ciceron might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeo Osoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Ciceron ran back to his position shaking his head. Cirquebol's Tadeo Osoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Chorche in the 64th minute of play. Alberto Ciceron succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 68th playminute. The supporters of Salamanca booed when Cirquebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Jacob didn't get a good kick on the ball.
