Douglas Haig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Phelipe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo Monico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rogelio Derwin came out and tried to block the shot, but Haroldo Monico slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jogo Bonito's goalkeeper Rogelio Derwin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Douglas Haig's Constantino Phelipe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Haroldo Monico charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Monico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Haroldo Monico kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jogo Bonito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Haroldo Monico scored to the left of an out of position Rogelio Derwin, making the score, 1-4. Constantino Phelipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Jogo Bonito fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Douglas Haig were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
