Almafuerte's Carolo Gombal got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Vargas during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 6 played minutes Rahué got a freekick which was hit by Dario Vargas. Raul Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Erramun having to interfere. When Sebastian Mannuel fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rahué's protests and gave Sebastian Mannuel a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Rahué:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Almafuerte:s goal. The referee gave Almafuerte a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albino Timo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Rahué's Benedicto Erramun. 0-1. Robustiano Gilesindo made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Eugenio Karmel sent off a good shot on target. Isaac Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte's Juan Lopez got a free kick in the 19th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Rahué's Isaac Atauri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Gilesindo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Raul Iraitz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rahué's Benedicto Erramun. Benedicto Erramun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th minute, Arnaldo Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Almafuerte's Albino Timo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 38th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rahué. Raul Iraitz struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Benedicto Erramun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almafuerte. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Iraitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eugenio Karmel came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Rahué fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Karmel couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte's Juan Lopez got a free kick in the 66th minute. Isaac Atauri hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Victorio Sanduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raul Iraitz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Almafuerte's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 86 minutes into the game, one of Rahué:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a little luck, Rahué's Benedicto Erramun got control of the ball when Carolo Gombal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute Raul Iraitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Erramun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugenio Karmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Gilesindo having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Almafuerte had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
