Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anselmo Tristan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Manuel Norino kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Independiente's Cirilo Tabby got control of the ball when Manuel Norino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Ceferino Larpe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Lauro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Cirilo Tabby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Tristan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 21st minute, Naipe FC's Anselmo Tristan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Manuel Norino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cirilo Tabby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Tabby made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Manuel Norino sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute Ceferino Larpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgard Rutenio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 35 minutes, Ceferino Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Larpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naipe FC's Anselmo Tristan got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute Anselmo Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cirilo Tabby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Norino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cirilo Tabby having to make a save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Ceferino Larpe made the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Tabby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Sidro in the 52nd minute of play. Cirilo Tabby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Norino in the 59th minute of the match. Vinicio Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Rutenio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute, Rosendo Quinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Norino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Tabby having to interfere. Manuel Norino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Cirilo Tabby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceferino Larpe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vinicio Lauro came out and tried to block the shot, but Ceferino Larpe slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 73rd minute. When Naipe FC's Manuel Norino in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independiente's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th match minute, Naipe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Lawrence to maneuver through the defense. Anselmo Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cirilo Tabby having to interfere. Anselmo Tristan scored 2-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cirilo Tabby, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
