Severino Ibar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Famaillá's Apolo Enmanuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Chico in the 14th minute of play. If Iker Remicio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Ted stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Oier's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Severino Ibar made the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Ted showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iker Remicio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Rodrigo Ted took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iker Remicio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Esteban Oier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Famaillá supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jalea Futchibal Clabs's performance.
