Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eriberto Gaizkine took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Argentinos del Norte booed when Ñirihuau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Viviano didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Artemio Viviano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Teodoro Cloyo to make any attempt to save it. Ñirihuau's Astor Savion played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Gaizkine in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Gaizkine in the 29th minute of play forced Ñirihuau's goalkeeper Astor Savion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artemio Viviano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Argentinos del Norte's Hermengildo Beliran got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Eriberto Gaizkine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Savion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Ciceron's late challenge caught a Argentinos del Norte's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Ciceron helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ñirihuau getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eulalio Ciceron hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Argentinos del Norte's Jeremias Nofre tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hermengildo Beliran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Savion having to interfere. Eriberto Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Astor Savion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucio Cebo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Cebo in the 52nd minute of play forced Argentinos del Norte's goalkeeper Teodoro Cloyo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lucio Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Viviano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Teodoro Cloyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Cloyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Eriberto Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Hermengildo Beliran left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentinos del Norte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Argentinos del Norte's zone, Artemio Viviano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Cloyo came out of the goal and Artemio Viviano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Artemio Viviano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Cloyo having to interfere. Lucio Cebo struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Teodoro Cloyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ñirihuau. Astor Savion was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Faustino Cuartio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustino Cuartio really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Argentinos del Norte walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
