After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Amancio Tallia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scaloneta's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Tallia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Abaunza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 8 minutes into the match, Scaloneta's goalkeeper Leopoldo Pierres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simon Mateus. Marcelo Bela hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Amancio Tallia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Abaunza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amancio Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Guerrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scaloneta's Leopoldo Pierres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Scaloneta from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Gitano in the 20th minute of play. Ivan Guerrero charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivan Guerrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivan Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Scaloneta's Edgardo Laurentzi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaias Gitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Pierres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Amancio Tallia might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benigno Abaunza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amancio Tallia ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 36 minutes, Ivan Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Guerrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Scaloneta's Amancio Tallia in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wolves Ch's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Scaloneta's Leopoldo Pierres got control of the ball when Emanuel Tallia tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Mateus got free with Leopoldo Pierres in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Gerardo Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 47 minutes into the match, Scaloneta's Amancio Tallia broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Tallia made a kick off. In the 57th minute Simon Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Pierres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Gitano charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaias Gitano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute of the match Carmelo Dolfo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benigno Abaunza skillfully saved the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Amancio Tallia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Benigno Abaunza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amancio Tallia got free with Benigno Abaunza in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Scaloneta's Leopoldo Pierres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simon Mateus in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute Simon Mateus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Pierres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ivan Guerrero came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Guerrero couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Pierres came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Wolves Ch's Simon Mateus. But to his dismay, Simon Mateus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 93rd minute, Isaias Gitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Pierres was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Amancio Tallia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Abaunza having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Wolves Ch could leave the field as winners, despite Scaloneta having more of the ball for most of the match.
