Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Cheche started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes DOUGLAS HAIG got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Gimenez. Norberto Clementi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to DOUGLAS HAIG getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Herminio Gomez hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes DOUGLAS HAIG got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Gomez. Abelardo Rudolfo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodolfo Nardo. DOUGLAS HAIG's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ruben Lixandro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Clementi having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Bruno Gimenez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOUGLAS HAIG fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Jumeal's Norberto Clementi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Lixandro in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Ruben Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Clementi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomas Cheche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The throw-in from Herminio Gomez in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Jumeal's Zacarias Quirce.

Tomas Cheche scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Nardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Tomas Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jumeal's Norberto Clementi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Gimenez in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, DOUGLAS HAIG's Cosme Corderall got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Tomas Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Cosme Corderall shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Clementi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute, Bruno Gimenez reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Norberto Clementi. The goal made the score 1-2. The supporters of Jumeal booed when DOUGLAS HAIG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Transito didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Gimenez in the 78th minute of play forced Jumeal's goalkeeper Norberto Clementi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Gimenez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Tomas Cheche managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jumeal's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Cheche was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Nardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Gimenez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Norberto Clementi made a huge save. Tomas Cheche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Nardo having to interfere. Abelardo Rudolfo charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Rudolfo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Marcos Jorrin came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the DOUGLAS HAIG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Jorrin couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded DOUGLAS HAIG left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jumeal.
