Spectators: 7206 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Grüttly's Gonzalo Olo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gonzalo Olo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anibal Hori took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Herminio Erasto. Grüttly's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Hilario Peruxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grüttly's Herminio Erasto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Grüttly:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Porco Rex FC:s goal. Gonzalo Olo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Ospin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Porco Rex FC's Hilario Peruxu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herminio Erasto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 33rd minute Hilario Peruxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Erasto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, Benicio Madaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porco Rex FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Madaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Benicio Madaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Porco Rex FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Samuel Felipo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Generoso Gabrio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Ospin having to interfere. Gonzalo Olo kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Herminio Erasto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Grüttly's goalkeeper Herminio Erasto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hilario Peruxu. Herminio Erasto made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Hilario Peruxu sent off a good shot on target. Herminio Erasto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Madaleno, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The referee showed Jacobo Fresco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Samuel Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Porco Rex FC's zone, Samuel Felipo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Ospin came out of the goal and Samuel Felipo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Grüttly getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ladislao Iztal hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Grüttly's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Madaleno came free, but Herminio Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hilario Peruxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Erasto having to interfere. When Hernan Abaunza fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porco Rex FC's protests and gave Hernan Abaunza a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Porco Rex FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Hernan Abaunza hit a great ball. The Porco Rex FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Porco Rex FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
