In the 25thth minute of the game Dalmacio Dunixi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Red Hot Chili Peppers's Juhani Pihlainen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Red Hot Chili Peppers's Feliciano Vimaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sixto Lertxun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Sixto Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxen Cassano in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Maxen Cassano notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Apuyaco's Sixto Lertxun. Apuyaco's Sixto Lertxun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Red Hot Chili Peppers were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmacio Dunixi to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Apuyaco's zone, Ariel Polentzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Lertxun came out of the goal and Ariel Polentzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxen Cassano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Lertxun having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Apuyaco's goal looked a bit too open when Maxen Cassano came free, but Sixto Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Nestor Jeraldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Lertxun was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Red Hot Chili Peppers's Feliciano Vimaro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sixto Lertxun. That made the score 1-6 after 74 minutes of play. Conrado Raymond charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
