Spectators: 7239 (Terracing: 5431, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gonzalo Olo kicked off to start the match. Faro FC's Antonio Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Olo in the 11th minute of play. After 22 minutes Grüttly's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberto Baumer who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Grüttly's Gonzalo Olo got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute, Aurelio Lano fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Aurelio Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes, Leonardo Uxio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Faro FC and the Grüttly players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Grüttly booed when Faro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Olo struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Antonio Loren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grüttly. With a little luck, Grüttly's Herminio Erasto got control of the ball when Justo Cambranes tried to sneak it across the goal line.
