Gaudencio Cesaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Rius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Lavalia's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Cordaryal came free, but Gaudencio Cesaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ildefonso Cordaryal in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaudencio Cesaro saved Lavalia from getting behind. Gaston Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 15 played minutes El Pulga de la Gente got a freekick which was hit by Ildefonso Cordaryal. Amador Martxot might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santo Furtado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amador Martxot ran back to his position shaking his head. After 17 played minutes El Pulga de la Gente got a freekick which was hit by Nunez Acuña. In the 27th minute Ildefonso Cordaryal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Paulo Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Savier to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Gerardo Frances was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Pulga de la Gente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lavalia the free kick. Gerardo Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Pascual Valente hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Santo Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavalia. In the 85th minute Paulo Savier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Paulo Savier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Furtado was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Paulo Savier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Furtado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. When Pascual Valente fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Pulga de la Gente's protests and gave Pascual Valente a yellow card for diving instead. Lavalia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of El Pulga de la Gente for a fine match.
