Spectators: 7245 (Terracing: 5435, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Urbano Baumer got the match started through his kick off. Eulalio Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Uxio in the 3rd minute of the match. Urbano Baumer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justo Cambranes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Eulalio Cruz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot by Lino Jaizki from long distance, 13 minutes into the match, got Eulalio Cruz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Lano in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eulalio Cruz saved Trilí from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Trilí's Victor Gudesteo got a free kick in the 20th minute. After 21 minutes of play, Faro FC's Aurelio Lano made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eulalio Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Justo Cambranes scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eulalio Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ismael Berriotxoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Urbano Baumer made a precise shot to the right of Antonio Loren. Faro FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anselmo Bertin during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, one of Trilí:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Trilí. Dante Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Cruz having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Lano made a kick off. Eulalio Cruz came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Faro FC's Justo Cambranes. But to his dismay, Justo Cambranes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Eulalio Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Cambranes in the 59th minute of play. Eulalio Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Lano in the 62nd minute of the match. Justo Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Cruz having to interfere. Aurelio Lano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 minutes of play, Faro FC's Leonardo Uxio made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eulalio Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eulalio Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Cambranes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eulalio Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Lano in the 78th minute of play. Aurelio Lano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Loren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Urbano Baumer in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trilí's goalkeeper Eulalio Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Ismael Berriotxoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trilí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ismael Berriotxoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Trilí players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Faro FC.
