The referee showed Conrado Raymond the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Apuyaco's Conrado Raymond got a free kick in the 18th minute. Anselmo Bertin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sixto Lertxun. Apuyaco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sixto Lertxun made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ismael Berriotxoa sent off a good shot on target. After 22 minutes, Orlando Iigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Apuyaco and the Trilí players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Trilí booed when Apuyaco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Gai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urbano Baumer to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute Dalmacio Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Dunixi in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Apuyaco's Sixto Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Baumer in the 69th minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Edgard Frutos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apuyaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Frutos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Apuyaco getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Orlando Iigo hit a great ball. Eulalio Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmacio Dunixi's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Dalmacio Dunixi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Eulalio Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sixto Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Berriotxoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Dalmacio Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
