When Santos Manni came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Bilardistas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santos Manni couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bilardistas's Robustiano Amaya got a free kick in the 11th minute. The supporters of Quequén FC booed when Bilardistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Urtats didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16th minute, one of Bilardistas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bilardistas. Maximiliano Cesario went to the wrong direction when Nereo Indartsu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Santos Manni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Santos Oro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felipe Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Felipe Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bilardistas's Robustiano Amaya suffered a sore thigh after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Victor Jobo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Jobo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quequén FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Victor Jobo hit a great ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quequén FC's goalkeeper Santos Oro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 41 minutes, Fulgencio Platon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Quequén FC and the Bilardistas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Fulgencio Platon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Rafael Guifre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bilardistas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Guifre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Quequén FC's Victor Jobo got a free kick in the 45th minute. Rafael Guifre was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 46th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Godofredo Pes got free with Maximiliano Cesario in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Quequén FC's Godofredo Pes, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Quequén FC. Fulgencio Platon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Cesario having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Godofredo Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quequén FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Pes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Cesario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godofredo Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Godofredo Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Godofredo Pes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano Cesario when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 89 minutes, Godofredo Pes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quequén FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Pes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Roldan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Oro having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
