After a rather tough play, Carlsen's Abel Macerio got a free kick in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Omar Batistuta during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carlsen booed when Higuera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Batistuta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Carlsen's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Kismi came free, but Sven Borgman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ats Eluvee took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Carlsen booed when Higuera FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match, Felix Bidun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sven Borgman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Carlsen's Luis Txeru got a free kick in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Carlsen's Sven Borgman got control of the ball when Hermengildo Kismi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnaldo Eladio kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Roberto Cesaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaias Mateo's late challenge caught a Carlsen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Mateo helped the player get up and apologised. Isaias Mateo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Felix Bidun got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 40 minutes into the match, Higuera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Macario came free, but Ats Eluvee reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximiliano Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Bidun in the 45th minute of play forced Carlsen's goalkeeper Sven Borgman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maximiliano Macario came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Carlsen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Macario couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Felix Bidun made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Carlsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Txeru to maneuver through the defense. Higuera FC's Hermengildo Kismi got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Carlsen getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Luis Txeru hit a great ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Hermengildo Kismi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carlsen's Sven Borgman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven Borgman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Eladio in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Higuera FC booed when Carlsen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Pero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 played minutes, Higuera FC's Faustino Ieltxu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven Borgman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Higuera FC reached it. Higuera FC's Hermengildo Kismi got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 76th match minute, Carlsen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Roberto Cesaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ats Eluvee, 1-1. Hermengildo Kismi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Sven Borgman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Densill 陈天南's late challenge caught a Higuera FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Densill 陈天南 helped the player get up and apologised. 88 minutes into the game, one of Carlsen:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sven Borgman had in the 90thth minute some difficulties stopping Faustino Ieltxu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Higuera FC had won after a very even match.
