Fulgencio Behe's late challenge caught a Carlsen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fulgencio Behe helped the player get up and apologised. After 19 played minutes Boulogne got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Behe. Jorge Etxahun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Maximiliano Macario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Etxahun having to make a save. Roberto Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Etxahun having to interfere. Maximiliano Macario struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jorge Etxahun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlsen. Roberto Cesaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Cesaro in the 37th minute of play forced Boulogne's goalkeeper Jorge Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roberto Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Etxahun having to interfere. Maximiliano Macario who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Jorge Etxahun when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Macario in the 59th minute of play forced Boulogne's goalkeeper Jorge Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Etxahun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Cesaro's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Carlsen's Sven Borgman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Carlsen from getting a goal against them. Horacio Mikeldi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sven Borgman came out and tried to block the shot, but Horacio Mikeldi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 64th minute. If Roberto Cesaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 played minutes Carlsen got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Macario. Roberto Cesaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Etxahun having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Cesaro in the 81st minute of play forced Boulogne's goalkeeper Jorge Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Boulogne's Fulgencio Behe got a free kick in the 85th minute. Roberto Cesaro might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Etxahun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Cesaro ran back to his position shaking his head. Roberto Cesaro scored 3-1 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorge Etxahun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carlsen had played much better football throughout.
