The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Mantzio's late challenge caught a Muñoz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justino Mantzio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Improvisados FC's Justino Mantzio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Santos Kaxens short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Julian Oihenarte to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 45th minute, Braulio Sayvion made a precise shot to the right of Ceferino Costante. Muñoz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samuel Lobo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Improvisados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Theodore to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Siro Oriol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muñoz's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Oriol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Oihenarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siro Oriol in the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Santos Kaxen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Oihenarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Muñoz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Guib to maneuver through the defense. Froilan Bartolome's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ceferino Costante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The referee ignored Muñoz's protests and gave Santos Kaxen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75th match minute, Muñoz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Kaxen to maneuver through the defense. Braulio Sayvion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 84 minutes of play Improvisados FC's Santiago Theodore was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. After having played for 87 minutes, Benicio Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muñoz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Petri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aquiles Oliviero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ceferino Costante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Petri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Improvisados FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
