Luis Ixidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis Ixidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Valente in the 20th minute of play. Ciro Ikatz hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Saul Rivero might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Froilan Gilesindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saul Rivero ran back to his position shaking his head. Froilan Gilesindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Rivero in the 30th minute of the match. Saul Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bonifacio Castulo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Gilesindo having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Alberti's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Chuse came free, but Froilan Gilesindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Saul Rivero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 48 played minutes Bernasconi got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Ted. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Berdoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bonifacio Castulo struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Froilan Gilesindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bernasconi. After a defensive mix-up in Bernasconi's zone, Ariel Berdoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Ixidor came out of the goal and Ariel Berdoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luis Ixidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Valente in the 63rd minute. Bruno Chuse's late challenge caught a Alberti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Chuse helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Bruno Chuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clodoveo Diegotxe made a great header on Alberti's corner, it was just that Bernasconi's Luis Ixidor managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ariel Berdoi in the 71st minute of play forced Bernasconi's goalkeeper Luis Ixidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bonifacio Castulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Ariel Berdoi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 79 minutes into the game, Jaime Indartsu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bernasconi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alberti the free kick. The supporters of Alberti booed when Bernasconi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Indartsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Gabriel Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alberti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Valente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Bernasconi's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Berdoi came free, but Luis Ixidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Berdoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Luis Ixidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Valente took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis Ixidor. Luis Ixidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.
