The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mariano Licerio during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, one of Sommelier de Ligamentos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sommelier de Ligamentos. 16 minutes into the game, KOMATZU FC's Leonel Bembe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amancio Remicio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Virgilio Remicio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Feliciano Mercurio made a huge save. Virgilio Remicio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aquilino Edur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliciano Mercurio made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Virgilio Remicio sent off a good shot on target. Jimeno Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 32 played minutes KOMATZU FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Silban. After a defensive mix-up in KOMATZU FC's zone, Aquilino Edur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliciano Mercurio came out of the goal and Aquilino Edur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Nicasio Oinatz fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KOMATZU FC's protests and gave Nicasio Oinatz a yellow card for diving instead. Nicasio Oinatz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Virgilio Remicio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Feliciano Mercurio made a huge save. KOMATZU FC's Feliciano Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Edur in the 37th minute of play. If Aquilino Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aquilino Edur in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Mercurio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Sommelier de Ligamentos fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Sommelier de Ligamentos's Virgilio Remicio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 46 minutes, Lucio Ruy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KOMATZU FC and the Sommelier de Ligamentos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes KOMATZU FC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Ruy. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquilino Edur in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feliciano Mercurio saved KOMATZU FC from getting behind. After the first half KOMATZU FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Aquilino Edur made the kick off in the second half. Amancio Remicio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Bembe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Quinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Amancio Remicio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Edur in the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Aquilino Edur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliciano Mercurio. KOMATZU FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquilino Edur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Amancio Remicio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Bembe in the 91st minute of play. KOMATZU FC's Feliciano Mercurio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Remicio in the 95th minute of play. Sommelier de Ligamentos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KOMATZU FC for a fine match.
