Lucio Precioso started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, San Martin FC's Fabian Soter got a free kick in the 5th minute. Lucio Precioso hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Jonathan Oihenarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Armando Mede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 played minutes Matancilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Marin. Armando Mede made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Oihenarte in the 18th minute. Cleto Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Cleto Hermelando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Diego Laffitte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, Matancilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Oihenarte to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, San Martin FC's Cleto Hermelando broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. San Martin FC's Octavio Jaen pulled a muscle in his back after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ricardo Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After 46 minutes, Felipe Ospetsu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San Martin FC and the Matancilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Matancilla FC booed when San Martin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ospetsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucio Precioso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Armando Mede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Clodoveo Rosalio made the kick off in the second half. Armando Mede came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Matancilla FC's Lucio Precioso. But to his dismay, Lucio Precioso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. San Martin FC's Armando Mede played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Precioso in the 61st minute of play. Lucio Precioso struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Armando Mede didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matancilla FC. After a rather tough play, San Martin FC's Clodoveo Rosalio got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Precioso in the 70th minute of play forced San Martin FC's goalkeeper Armando Mede to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Precioso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes into the game, Jonathan Oihenarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matancilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Martin FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Matancilla FC's Jonathan Oihenarte got a free kick in the 84th minute. Felipe Ospetsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Diego Laffitte made a huge save. Matancilla FC's Diego Laffitte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clodoveo Rosalio in the 86th minute of play. Armando Mede showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Precioso, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Cleto Gimenez made a precise shot to the right of Diego Laffitte. Matancilla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After some careless play in the Matancilla FC defense, Clodoveo Rosalio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Laffitte. The Matancilla FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Laffitte should have stopped the shot.
