River Plate's Cecilio Aznar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Celestino Nuñez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 67th minute, Delmar Javiero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morcilla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alvaro Hodei during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Morcilla FC booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Hodei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Diagur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. In the 97th minute of the match Morcilla FC got a corner. River Plate's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adolfo Behe ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Morcilla FC's corner Saverio Jerold fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Celestino Nuñez quite easily take care of the ball. Cecilio Aznar hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Morcilla FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
