Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Igor Checa kicked off to start the match. When Dalmacio Giraldo came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Derby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dalmacio Giraldo couldn't finish the play. Denis Aguilera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Markel having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Caldao AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Giraldo came free, but Saul Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes, Victorino Tello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derby FC and the Caldao AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th minute, Dalmacio Giraldo made a precise shot to the right of Saul Markel. Caldao AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Saul Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Aguilera in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Rodrigo Raitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Ariel Iraido got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Caldao AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Giraldo came free, but Saul Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Denis Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Giraldo succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The attack was good, but when Dalmacio Giraldo in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Saul Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Aguilera in the 41st minute of play. After 43rd play minutes Dalmacio Giraldo shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Saul Markel and just under the crossbar into goal. When Derby FC's Dalmacio Giraldo in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Derby FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalmacio Giraldo to strike the kick off in the second half. Saul Markel was completely defenseless when Eusebio Bibiano shot a long shot which deflected off the right pole and into the goal in the game's 53rd minute, 0-4. In the 57th minute Juan Frederik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moises Roldan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Saul Markel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Caldao AFC's Rodrigo Raitin got a free kick in the 61st minute. The supporters of Caldao AFC booed when Derby FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Bibiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Rodrigo Raitin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Derby FC's Tobias Cresenciano didn't even have to move. After 69 minutes, Elpidio Ihazintu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Derby FC and the Caldao AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elpidio Ihazintu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Moises Roldan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, one of Caldao AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Caldao AFC. The goalkeeper, Saul Markel, was totally fooled by Derby FC's Eusebio Bibiano, who 77 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dalmacio Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Markel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Aguilera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saul Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Giraldo in the 95th minute of play. Derby FC played a much better game than Caldao AFC and deserved their victory. The Caldao AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
