Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Igor Checa started the match with the kick off. Candido Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Iraido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Igor Checa put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Candido Galindo. Candido Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Iraido in the 10th minute of the match. Saul Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Incendio in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Epuyén's Benicio Pello got a free kick in the 18th minute. Angelino Azeari hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ariel Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Candido Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Iraido might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Candido Galindo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ariel Iraido ran back to his position shaking his head. Saul Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Incendio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Angelino Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Igor Checa came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Caldao AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Igor Checa couldn't finish the play. After 48 minutes of play, Caldao AFC's Ariel Iraido made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Candido Galindo was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roman Incendio to make the kick off. Igor Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Iraido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Candido Galindo made a huge save. Ariel Iraido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramiro Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caldao AFC's Saul Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelino Azeari in the 74th minute of play. Igor Checa struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Candido Galindo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caldao AFC. Angelino Azeari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Saul Markel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roman Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Markel having to interfere. Epuyén's Candido Galindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Epuyén from getting a goal against them. Ariel Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Igor Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Epuyén:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caldao AFC:s goal. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Caldao AFC. Rodrigo Raitin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Candido Galindo. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Caldao AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
