Rupestres FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Orlando Osasun scored to the left of an out of position Enrique Medero, making the score, 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Lluis in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rosendo Goren saved Racing Club from getting behind. Rosendo Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Louis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 18th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Xabel to maneuver through the defense. Rosendo Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Lluis in the 20th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Nunez Sotil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rupestres FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 28 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Sotil came free, but Rosendo Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Club's Rosendo Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Sotil in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes Racing Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cesar Lalla who took care of the corner kick. 33 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Sotil came free, but Rosendo Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Nunez Sotil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rosendo Goren. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rosendo Goren should have stopped the shot. Rosendo Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Lluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Rosendo Goren came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rupestres FC's Federico Louis. But to his dismay, Federico Louis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Racing Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 60th minute, when Federico Louis scored to the left of an out of position Rosendo Goren, making the score, 1-5. Thanks to some nice moves Donato Lluis could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Rosendo Goren however easily saved by the left post. In the 64th minute, Nunez Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the match, Federico Louis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rosendo Goren. Racing Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Louis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. Rosendo Goren made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Donato Lluis sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Rupestres FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Racing Club.
