Orlando Osasun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邓竞沙 having to interfere. 邓竞沙 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Osasun's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute Orlando Osasun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 邓竞沙 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Bittor was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Esteban Jerardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nunez Fresco hit a great ball. Cipriano Paio struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Rosendo Goren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caleufú Córdoba Club. In the 66th minute, Esteban Jerardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mariano Bittor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of 邓竞沙 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Esteban Jerardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Caleufú Córdoba Club's goalkeeper 邓竞沙 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Xabel. With his leg 邓竞沙 managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Racing Club's Mariano Bittor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Anastasio Burni kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Mariano Bittor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 邓竞沙 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Jerardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 邓竞沙 having to make a save. 邓竞沙 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esteban Jerardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Racing Club's Nunez Fresco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. The Caleufú Córdoba Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Racing Club were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
