An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Lluis in the 11th minute of play forced Los Pollos Hermanos's goalkeeper Sergio Gilabert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Lluis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Sergio Gilabert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nunez Sotil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Donato Lluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Gilabert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Gilabert came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Rupestres FC's Nunez Sotil. But to his dismay, Nunez Sotil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Nunez Sotil, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 36 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Sergio Gilabert was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nunez Sotil in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Gilabert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristobal Blai might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Enrique Medero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristobal Blai ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristobal Blai to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Filomeno Ermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Cornelio Quintyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Pollos Hermanos's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Quintyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Medero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Lleir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Erruki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nunez Sotil was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Rupestres FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donato Lluis got free with Sergio Gilabert in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sergio Gilabert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Sotil, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Enrique Medero didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Los Pollos Hermanos's Agustin Roland shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Enrique Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Blai, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
