Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) Gorostiaga AFC's Cesar Oalo got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute Cesar Oalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Arixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Filiberto Arixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Rodriguez in the 10th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Taringa FC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Galo. Silvano Rodriguez struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Filiberto Arixo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gorostiaga AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Gorostiaga AFC's zone, Celedonio Tonete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arsenio Tolino came out of the goal and Celedonio Tonete tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Arixo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Celedonio Tonete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taringa FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Tonete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Tolino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Gorostiaga AFC's Mario Gabrio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. A long shot from Isidro Celino in the 24th minute of play was well struck, but Arsenio Tolino made a really good save at the right post. Jacobo Maiorga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arsenio Tolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Maiorga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Mario Gabrio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gorostiaga AFC and the Taringa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 33 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Taringa FC's Jacobo Maiorga fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Domiku in the 38th minute of play forced Taringa FC's goalkeeper Filiberto Arixo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingos Fernandez during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 46th match minute, Taringa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Domingos Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Silvano Rodriguez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gorostiaga AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacobo Maiorga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gorostiaga AFC's Arsenio Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Maiorga in the 53rd minute of play. Filiberto Arixo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cesar Oalo sent off a good shot on target. Silvano Rodriguez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Filiberto Arixo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 71 minutes, Jacobo Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taringa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jacobo Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Maiorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Arsenio Tolino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Arixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Rodriguez in the 75th minute of play. After 83 played minutes Taringa FC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Lekubegi.
