Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeronimo Evarado kicked off to start the match. C.A. Toro's Natalio Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Kusko in the 3rd minute of play. Cecilio Kusko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Cecilio Kusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Banfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Kusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Iago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Toro's zone, Uriel Ixona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Natalio Iago came out of the goal and Uriel Ixona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ciro James had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cecilio Kusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Natalio Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Gurutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Jeremias Lertxun's late challenge caught a C.A. Toro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Lertxun helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A. Toro booed when Club Atlético Banfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Lertxun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeronimo Lobo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Cipriano Bertin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Lobo in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, C.A. Toro's Carolo Txatxu got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 26th match minute, C.A. Toro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Perez to maneuver through the defense. Ciro James fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Iago having to interfere. C.A. Toro's Natalio Iago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Gurutz in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Ciro James notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of C.A. Toro's Natalio Iago. Natalio Iago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrian Gurutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Iago having to interfere. After some careless play in the C.A. Toro defense, Adrian Gurutz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natalio Iago. The C.A. Toro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natalio Iago should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apolo Handi during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Club Atlético Banfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Handi to maneuver through the defense. Natalio Iago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Ixona, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Toro's Primitivo Perez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Natalio Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Ixona in the 70th minute of the match. Natalio Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Gurutz in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Ciro James managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Banfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro James was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th minute Adrian Gurutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Ixona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Natalio Iago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natalio Iago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro James in the 98th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Banfield players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
