After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Cesar Oalo got free with Baltasar Pacifico in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to kunfantasma getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ruperto Caton hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, kunfantasma's Ruperto Caton got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Cesar Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ruperto Caton fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored kunfantasma's protests and gave Ruperto Caton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, Ruperto Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baltasar Pacifico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Donato Colon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Tolino having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Ruperto Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the kunfantasma defense, Cesar Oalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baltasar Pacifico. The kunfantasma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baltasar Pacifico should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, kunfantasma's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Rodriguez came free, but Baltasar Pacifico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cesar Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gorostiaga AFC booed when kunfantasma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gorostiaga AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
