The supporters of Fiambalá AFC booed when Yeso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Mitxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Opilano hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Apolo Gaur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Urtun, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Yeso got a corner. Fiambalá AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hipolito Mitxel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Angel Opilano kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Zeledon Urtun scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Gaur, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Apolo Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Gonsalvo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiambalá AFC's goalkeeper Apolo Gaur, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Fiambalá AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Urtun came free, but Apolo Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Yeso were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Teodosio Ur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apolo Gaur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Fiambalá AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Urtun came free, but Apolo Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Fiambalá AFC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Ovidio Calixto hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Alfonso Gonsalvo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yeso's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfonso Gonsalvo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Gaur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd minute, Alfonso Gonsalvo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Teodosio Ur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yeso walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
